What does Romans 16:25 mean? 2. I'm trying to figure out how to balance making my own decisions with praying and waiting for God's direction. I want to move to a smaller town, my wife says we should pray about it, and that makes sense—but I don't know where the line is. Do I have to pray about every little thing, like what shirt to wear? How do I know when it's my job to decide and act instead of waiting for a sign? I don't want to use prayer as an excuse to stall out and not move forward with my life, but I also don't want to ignore what God wants me to do. How do I tell the difference so I'm being responsible without either overstepping or getting stuck? How do I know when to decide and when to wait on God? 3. How do you reconcile Sabbath keeping and the observance of dietary laws with 1 Timothy 4:1 5, Galatians 4:10, and Colossians 2:16? 4. What does praying in the Spirit mean? Does it mean praying in tongues? I heard a Pastor preaching on 1 Corinthians 14 and saying we should all learn to pray in tongues, as this is the language of Heaven. Is this correct? If so, why would Jesus not teach his disciples to pray in tongues? Are we missing out on fellowship with God because we are praying only in earthly languages? 5. In regard to Matthew 16:18 19, most people are still confused. Did Jesus Christ start the Catholic Church because Peter was the first Pope in Judea? I need a good explanation of that, please. Can you please explain Matthew 16:18 19? 6. What is the spiritual meaning of the bank in Matthew 25:27? What does the bank stand for so you can "deposit"? 7. After accepting the Adventist message online and planning for baptism, I’m struggling with how to handle a long term friendship that has recently moved toward courtship. We’ve been best friends for over seven years, and he is a kind man with qualities I admire, but he is an Orthodox Christian. I now understand the concern about being “unequally yoked,” and I’m unsure how to move forward without hurting him or breaking trust. He doesn’t yet know about my change in belief, and I’m torn between wanting to be honest, not causing pain, and not ignoring what I believe to be truth. I would appreciate counsel on how to proceed. How do I handle a close friendship turned courtship when we now differ in faith? 8. I need help responding to my daughter, who has been taught that the seventh day Sabbath should be observed by staying home and resting rather than attending church. She has been taught this is how Jesus observed it, and that we are doing it wrongly and thus working instead of resting, by getting dressed and going to church on Saturdays instead of Sundays. How should the Sabbath really be kept, at home or in church? 9. Did Jesus teach that it is wrong to call anyone “rabbi” or “father”? 10. How can I forgive myself?
