The same voice that spoke creation into existence has power to raise the dead and strengthen believers to overcome temptation. When we neglect Scripture, we do not remain neutral. We grow weaker, often without realizing it, and the effects spill into everyday life. Relationships strain, patience disappears, stress rises, and the heart grows dull. Yet God remains constant even when we are inconsistent. Lamentations 3:22 to 23 reminds us that His mercies are new every morning. God’s faithfulness does not fluctuate like human devotion often does. That contrast is both comfort and correction.
