What if your Bible study blessed someone else today too? | A Double Blessing | 04 29 2026 Your Daily Portion Sabbath School Lesson with LD “The Anomaly” Harris (L. David Harris) Bible study does not have to be one dimensional. There are many ways to keep your time with God fresh, verse by verse, chapter study, theme study, word study, or book study. You can use a concordance and Bible dictionary, read alongside the Conflict of the Ages series for added insight, listen to Scripture while walking in nature, or study with a friend or small group. Variety helps keep your daily appointment with God vibrant, because there is always more to learn. But one of the most powerful ways to deepen your own learning is to share what you are discovering. When you explain truth to someone else, you are forced to summarize and synthesize, and that consolidates the message in your own mind. That is the double blessing, you grow, and the person you share with is strengthened too. Often, the deepest learning happens when we teach. Isaiah 50:4 shows how this works. God gives the disciple “the tongue of the learned,” not for showing off knowledge, but so we can speak a word in season to the weary. A real relationship with God does not stay private. It equips you to encourage someone you meet that day. And this is a marathon, not a sprint. If you have gone slack, do not quit. Make the adjustments needed to keep prayer and Bible study vibrant. Keep pressing toward the goal, because eternal life is knowing God now, and daily abiding in His Word is life changing.
